Can a trial lesson be arranged?

Yes, but it is dependent on whether a slot can be arranged. The trial lesson is usually a full 1.5 hours session and fees will only be charged if the student commits to regular lessons.

If the student decides to sign up for lessons, then this trial lesson will be considered as one lesson.

What subjects can the Pareto Team teach?

Both of us have extensive experience teaching a great variety of subjects across various levels. Being able to see through students from PSLE to the A Levels, we are nurturing and long-term mentors to students.

For the specific list of the subjects at each level, do refer here.

What is the typical class size?

For group sessions, the class size is capped at 4 to ensure that the quality of the lessons is not compromised.

Smaller group lessons can also be formed by the students themselves to create a more relaxed and interactive learning environment, especially for more reserved students.

What is the duration of each Pareto session?

The typical duration for a small group lesson is 1.5 hours.

This ensures adequate time to cover both course materials and additional practice, especially for students preparing for national examinations.

How do you handle students with different abilities?

Our classes max out at 4 students, which means we can focus on each child’s unique needs.

We push the high-achievers yet give extra support to those who need it.

Is Pareto Learners an enrichment centre?

No, it is not. Over the years, we have resisted the temptation to expand and turn into a large enrichment business that is bogged down by bureaucracy and inefficiencies.

Are there any promotions?

STUDENT REFERRAL BONUS

If you or your child refers a student who goes on to enrol for at least 1 full month, your child is entitled to a one-off rebate.

Each student referred = $50 rebate

For example, if you refer 5 students, you are entitled to a $250 rebate for your child’s next term’s fees.

Your child will also receive a gift or treat from us!

Are 1-to-1 lessons offered?

We take up a limited number of 1-1 students each year. We typically do not accept more than 5 students for 1-1 in a year, so please register early to be on the waiting list.

We genuinely believe group sessions might be the more effective and affordable option for most students.

Do you offer lessons for IP students?

Yes and we may consider opening IP classes if there is sufficient demand. Please drop me an email if you are keen and we will add your child to the waitlist.

Do you have experience teaching IP students?

Yes, we have taught students from leading IP schools such as RI, HCI, NJC, VS and Cedar Girls.
